Description

French natural stone extracted in Burgundy-Franche-Comté

ANTICA paving stones are genuine French limestone, extracted in our own quarries in Burgundy-Franche-Comté and then crafted in our factory. A fully controlled supply chain that guarantees you a high-quality natural stone at the best value for money, with no middleman.

Their natural shades of beige, cream, and cappuccino, combined with their tumbled finish, immediately create a warm and authentic atmosphere. Far from the uniform look of industrial materials, each paving stone features slight variations that define the richness of natural stone.

A paving stone built to last

Frost-resistant, non-slip, and suitable for high-traffic areas, ANTICA paving stones are just as suitable for driveways, courtyards, terraces, and patios as they are for pool decks. Their tumbled finish allows them to blend naturally into both character-filled renovations and contemporary projects.

🌧️ Do you live in a humid region?

Outdoors, this natural stone is captivating for its authenticity and timeless charm. Its soft and warm look is particularly appreciated in the sunny regions of southern France, such as Provence.

For a terrace located in a region with a more humid climate, such as the Grand Est, Brittany, or the Île-de-France, also discover our natural stones ALMENDRA and SINAI PEARL. Denser and naturally less porous, they offer a very similar look while requiring less maintenance over the years.

Color variation

Minéral products are classified from 1 to 4 based on variations in color, texture, and size to help you better anticipate their appearance.

Learn more about variations

COLOR: MARKED VARIATION (3/4)

A more pronounced mix of shades is visible, with strong contrasts between different pieces. Installation should be planned to harmoniously distribute variations and achieve a balanced result. We recommend ordering 10 to 15% extra material to allow for selection of specific nuances.

MARKED TEXTURE (3/4)

Noticeable differences in relief between elements add character to the covering by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious finish, it is advisable to distribute the pieces well during installation. These materials, often from mechanical production with some variation, have a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure an optimal fit.

VARIABLE SIZE AND THICKNESS (3/4)

Differences between elements are more pronounced (size and thickness +/- 2 mm), which gives an artisanal and authentic effect. Installation requires adjustments.
