Description
Description
The authenticity of genuine handcrafted terracotta facing
This facing is made from full-body natural clay, molded and then manually pressed into a frame, using a traditional method.
Each piece is then slowly dried before firing at high temperature.
This process creates a facing that is:
- dense and durable
- slightly irregular at its edges
- naturally nuanced
Slight marks, surface variations, and color nuances are inherent to this type of manufacturing.
They are not defects: they are the signature of genuine handcrafted terracotta.
A living material to adorn your walls
Unlike imitation terracotta facings, the color runs through the entire thickness of the element. It is not a mere surface decoration.
Over time, terracotta naturally develops a patina that enhances its character and adds depth to the wall covering.
This facing is perfectly suited for:
- the walls of a character home
- the renovation of an old building
- a kitchen or living area
- around a fireplace
- a contemporary interior seeking a raw and natural material
Why choose genuine terracotta facing?
✔ Natural and authentic material
✔ Handcrafted manufacturing
✔ Nuances and textures unique to each piece
✔ Durable material
✔ Appearance that naturally evolves over time
✔ Ideal for creating a wall with relief and character
💡 Professional tip:
Like all terracotta, this facing requires appropriate protection after installation to optimize its stain resistance and facilitate its maintenance, especially in rooms exposed to humidity.
