Beschreibung

The old limestone checkerboard offers the character of antique floors, with 100% French manufacturing. From our quarries in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, each piece is cut and aged in our workshops to guarantee an authentic look, true to the stones of historic buildings.

A unique character for interior spaces

This terracotta tile in a 20x20x1.5 cm format adopts a classic checkerboard pattern reminiscent of castle and old house floors. With its shades of light beige and dark grey. By creating a warm and natural atmosphere, it recreates the aesthetic of historical paving in mansions and bourgeois residences.

Exclusive "New Medieval" finish

The sandblasted brushed finish and straight edges give each tile a soft, slightly aged surface. The subtly patinated appearance and light reliefs are the result of exclusive expertise, creating a finish that respects the look of old floors while remaining simple and robust.

100% made in France

This tile is crafted in our workshop in Burgundy, where we transform locally extracted stone, as well as Belgian bluestone, into superior quality products.

COLOR: SIGNIFICANT VARIATION (3/4)

A more pronounced blend of shades is visible, with strong contrasts between different pieces. Installation should be planned in advance to harmoniously distribute variations and achieve a balanced result. We recommend allowing for 10 to 15% extra material to be able to select certain nuances.

SIGNIFICANT TEXTURE (3/4)

Perceptible reliefs between elements add character to the cladding by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious finish, it is advisable to distribute the pieces well during installation. These materials, often from mechanical manufacturing with some variation, have a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure optimal adjustment.

SIZE: SLIGHT VARIATIONS (2/4)

Subtle differences in dimensions are present, with slightly irregular edges for a more natural look. Installation with slightly wider joints is recommended.
