Recommended laying allowance
Which allowance should I choose?
With joints: you lay the stones with visible joints.
Tight / butt-jointed: the stones almost touch each other.
The tighter the joints, the more stones you need to fit them neatly together.

Every order is carefully prepared and protected. Despite all our precautions, a few pieces may exceptionally arrive damaged. No need to worry: we handle the situation together with you.
- Let us know as soon as possible, with a few photos: we take it from there.
- Carry on with your project. A damaged piece can often be used for the cuts needed during installation.
- Once your order is fully unpacked, set aside the pieces that are genuinely unusable and send us a few overall photos. We can then assess the exact quantity involved and put the right solution in place.

In every case, we do what it takes so your project can be completed with peace of mind.

Description
Description
The SOLNHOFEN limestone is renowned for its natural fineness, soft texture, and timeless elegance. Used for centuries in architecture, it captivates with its understated appearance, shades ranging from beige to light gray, and unique mineral character.
As a wall cladding, it adds depth and dimension to your spaces, while maintaining a natural and high-end aesthetic.
A wall cladding with a natural and authentic finish
The SOLNHOFEN stone as cladding creates living walls, with an irregular and harmonious finish. The natural variations in shapes and shades offer an authentic aesthetic, ideal for adding character to your projects.
It is perfectly suited for:
- living room walls or decorative walls
- kitchen backsplashes or interior wall coverings
- stairwells
- facades or sheltered exterior walls
Its finish integrates well into contemporary interiors as well as more traditional or rustic atmospheres.
A natural material with a unique finish
The natural finish of SOLNHOFEN stone highlights the richness of the material. Irregularities, nuances, and rough spots are an integral part of its charm.
Each cladding is unique, allowing for the creation of authentic and lively walls.
For optimal installation:
- Allow 15% extra material for installation with joints
- Allow 30% extra material compared to the actual surface area for dry-stone, jointless installation
