With joints: you lay the stones with visible joints.
Tight / butt-jointed: the stones almost touch each other.
The tighter the joints, the more stones you need to fit them neatly together.
Your order is prepared and protected
Stone is heavy and its edges are fragile: we leave nothing to chance.
- On a pallet or as a parcelDepending on the weight, your products are loaded and secured on a pallet, or carefully packed as a parcel.
- Wrapped and strappedPallets are stretch-wrapped and strapped to limit movement and knocks during transport.
- Checked and carefully loadedEvery order is checked by our team, then loaded onto the truck with care.
What if a piece arrives damaged?
Every order is carefully prepared and protected. Despite all our precautions, a few pieces may exceptionally arrive damaged. No need to worry: we handle the situation together with you.
- Let us know as soon as possible, with a few photos: we take it from there.
- Carry on with your project. A damaged piece can often be used for the cuts needed during installation.
- Once your order is fully unpacked, set aside the pieces that are genuinely unusable and send us a few overall photos. We can then assess the exact quantity involved and put the right solution in place.

The rough ashlar in LADOIX Mureuse limestone offers a natural stone with a fine grain and a light color, ideal for new constructions or renovations of walls with a traditional and elegant style. Its rough texture and irregular shapes bring an authentic charm, perfectly suited for outdoor environments. Robust and durable, this limestone ashlar resists bad weather while enhancing the natural and warm appearance of the stone.
For optimal installation:
- Allow for 15% additional material for installation with mortar joints
- Allow for 30% additional material compared to the actual surface for dry-stacked installation without mortar joints
