Beschreibung

The Mureuse de l’Yonne raw rubble stone is a French limestone from our quarries, selected for its traditional appearance and fine grain. Its light beige to slightly ochre hue evokes the ancient walls typical of Burgundy and lends an authentic character to all your projects.

Quarry-run, this rubble stone is distinguished by its irregular shapes and stone-by-stone laying, ideal for dry stone walls, landscape retaining walls, or rustic cladding. Its natural strength makes it a durable solution for your heritage-style outdoor developments.

For optimal installation:

Allow for 15% additional material for installation with mortar joints
Allow for 30% additional material compared to the actual surface area for dry stone installation without mortar joints

It is important to note that for products with strong color variations, only a larger quantity order allows for effective sorting during installation.

IRREGULAR TEXTURE (4/4)

Texture differences between pieces are marked. Depending on the product type, some surfaces may be smoother while others have a more pronounced relief. This effect creates an authentic and natural look. For a harmonious visual balance, it is essential to distribute the elements well during installation, without prior sorting, to preserve the desired effect. Wide joints, greater than 1 cm, are necessary to compensate for irregularities and ensure stability.
