Bring the raw, timeless charm of French natural stone flooring to your interior spaces, sourced from Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Laid in an opus incertum pattern, it creates a floor with a free-form, mineral character, perfect for a living room, entrance hall, or reception area.

Its natural hues range from soft beige and luminous cream to golden shades, derived from the region's iconic limestone. Each piece reveals the stone's unique variations, ensuring a warm and authentic finish.

This stone flooring is crafted in our workshop in Burgundy, where we work the material directly after extraction. This expertise in processing allows us to offer locally sourced stone, carefully enhanced and available at a controlled price.

Two types of opus incertum, two different finishes

1. Selected large slabs – A premium finish

Unlike traditional opus incertum flooring made from small pieces, this flooring is available in large natural stone slabs, which you can break apart directly on site to suit your needs.

This allows you to create your own opus incertum pattern using large pieces, for a more elegant, less fragmented, and more natural finish.

• Piece dimensions: approximately 80 to 120 × 60 to 90 cm.
• Easy to break apart: a single strike with a hammer and chisel is usually enough to divide the slabs.
• Custom installation: adapt the shapes and dimensions to your surface.
• Efficient use of material: the resulting pieces can be reused for adjustments and cutouts.
• Premium finish: large irregular pieces for an authentic and unique result.

👉 The slabs can be delivered whole or pre-broken into several usable pieces. Delivery of each piece intact is not guaranteed.

2. Sawing offcuts – A rustic and economical finish

This natural stone comes from repurposing manufacturing offcuts from the sawing of stone flooring. It is the same type of stone, but with more varied shapes and dimensions.

• Smaller pieces: generally 6 to 12 pieces per m².
• Irregular shapes: a mix of broken and sawn edges, and sometimes right angles.
• Varied sizes: some pieces may be almost rectangular.
• More fragmented and rustic finish, with more visible joints.
• More affordable price: an economical solution that makes the most of natural material.
