TRAVERTINE ROMAN Freestanding Basin

Premium Italian Travertine, Quarry Selection

This pedestal basin is carved from high-end Roman travertine, chosen for its natural shades—beige, sand, brown, and ochre—characteristic of this historic Italian stone.
Each piece, including the basin and pedestal, is crafted in our stonemasonry workshop in Moselle, where our artisans oversee every step to ensure impeccable machining quality.

Unique Double Finish: Raw Exterior & Honed Interior

Both the exterior of the pedestal and the basin feature a raw sanded finish, unfilled, which reveals the natural cavities of the travertine.
This mineral, granular, and authentic texture imparts a unique sculptural character—impossible to achieve on fully filled, industrialized models.

The interior of the bowl is filled and then honed, to offer a smooth, pleasant-to-the-touch, hygienic, and easy-to-maintain surface.
This raw / soft interior contrast creates a contemporary, warm, and natural presence.

True High-End Craftsmanship

Unlike standardized pedestal basins—often thick, massive, or imprecise—this model benefits from meticulous workshop manufacturing:

• Thin and regular walls
• Slight interior bevel for a perfect slope
• Delicately softened angles
• Precise and controlled geometry
• Sculpted from a single block

The result evokes the aesthetics of great Italian houses, where the purity of lines enhances both the material and the design.

Travertine: A Single Material for a Complete Project

With its natural nuances and timeless charm, travertine allows for the creation of a coherent interior, from furniture to coverings.

Minéral also offers:

• paving,
• cladding,
• steps,
• and custom pieces

in the same travertine, to create a homogeneous space from floor to furniture.
